Public consultation on the 35 MW battery hybridising the Virgen de Areños III solar plant

The Área de Industria y Energía of the Subdelegación del Gobierno in Palencia has opened public consultation on Iberenova Promociones' application, under the simplified procedure, for prior and construction authorisation of the «BESS Hibridación FV Virgen de Areños III» storage plant, 35 MW and 144.51 MWh, in Villota del Páramo. The notice states that the 44.681 MW solar plant it will hybridise with is built and in operation, and that the batteries will sit inside its fence, next to the 30/400 kV substation. Submissions are due within 15 working days from publication.
