Public consultation on the Puebla de Guzmán 400 kV substation expansion (Huelva)

Red Eléctrica has applied for prior administrative and construction authorisation to expand the 400 kV yard of the Puebla de Guzmán substation with a new circuit-breaker position and a 150 MVAr reactor, intended to manage reactive compensation on the area's transmission grid. The work is listed in the third partial amendment to the 2021-2026 Transmission Grid Development Plan. The Directorate-General for Energy Policy and Mines decides the file; submissions are due within thirty working days of publication, quoting file 151/2026.
