Public consultation on a new 150 MVAr reactor at the Don Rodrigo substation (Seville)

The Área de Industria y Energía of the Subdelegación del Gobierno in Seville has opened public consultation on Red Eléctrica de España's application for prior and construction authorisation to extend the 400 kV park of the Don Rodrigo substation, in Alcalá de Guadaíra, with a new breaker bay and a 150 MVAr REA2 reactor. The notice places the work within the third partial amendment of the 2021-2026 transmission network development plan, aimed at reinforcing the grid's resilience and control capacity. Submissions are due within thirty working days from publication.
