Ence's biomethane plant in Cogeces del Monte goes to public information

Castilla y León's Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Affairs and Environmental Policy has opened public information on the environmental authorisation and impact study for the organic waste valorisation plant that Biofertilizantes CH4, part of the Ence group, plans in Cogeces del Monte, according to pv magazine España. The plant will treat more than 75 tonnes a day of agricultural, livestock and agri-food waste to produce biomethane, organic fertilisers and compost through anaerobic digestion and upgrading, and will carry 1,968 kW of self-consumption PV split between a ground park on the plot and the roofs of three industrial buildings. It is Ence's second project in Castilla y León: the one at Peleas de Abajo (Zamora) already holds its environmental decision.
