Urgent-track processing for the self-consumption and energy-community royal decrees

Spain's environment ministry is taking to the Council of Ministers of Tuesday 13 October the urgent-track processing of two royal decrees, one on self-consumption and one on energy communities, aiming to approve them before the elections of 29 November, according to El Periódico de la Energía. The self-consumption decree creates the collective self-consumer and the vehicle-to-grid figure; the energy communities decree seeks faster processing and some priority in grid access and connection. Spain is around 11,000 MW of self-consumption against the PNIEC target of 19 GW.
