Aragón declares three biomethane plants at Caspe, La Puebla de Híjar and Fraga of regional interest

The Government of Aragón has declared as a regional-interest investment the construction of three organic-waste plants producing renewable gas (biomethane) in the municipalities of Caspe (Zaragoza), La Puebla de Híjar (Teruel) and Fraga (Huesca), promoted by BDP Bionergy VIII, BDP Bionergy IX and BDP Bionergy XII. The agreement is dated 2 September and is published through Orden ECE/1365/2026. For a developer, the declaration marks which renewable-gas sites carry the Aragonese government's express backing, one in each of the region's three provinces.
