Asturias to gain 2.6 GW of grid capacity to 2030 under the new planning

According to El Periodico de la Energia, Spain's Miteco has passed to the regions the changes made to the 2025-2030 transmission network plan while it is still being processed, and Asturias is allocated a 2.6 GW increase in electricity capacity to 2030. The plan sets how network is shared out by region, so for a developer in Asturias it is the reference for where evacuation capacity will be by the end of the decade.
