Public hearing opens on the cadastral valuation framework for PV and wind plants classed as BICE

Spain's cadastre directorate has opened the hearing stage before approving the special valuation framework (ponencia de valores especial) for solar PV and wind installations classed as special-characteristics property (BICE). The file may be consulted by appointment at the valuation and inspection sub-directorate, and interested parties may file submissions and evidence within ten working days counted from the day after the notice was published (BOE of 11 September). A ponencia de valores sets the cadastral valuation criteria for these installations, and those criteria drive the property tax a plant pays over its operating life.
