59 kWp of solar self-consumption at Calahorra hospital and five La Rioja health centres

La Rioja's health service has commissioned a 59 kWp self-consumption solar plant on the roof of the management building at Calahorra University Hospital: around 116 modules of 520 Wp, a 50 kW three-phase inverter and an estimated 84,680 kWh a year, against the site's own consumption of more than 2.4 million kWh. It has also brought online installations at five primary-care centres, among them Santo Domingo de la Calzada (88.5 kWp) and Alfaro (22 kWp), funded through Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The health service is fitting out its building stock one roof at a time, so each health-centre roof is a contracting opportunity for installers.
