Environmental permit for the Granja de Moreruela hydrogen plant, with 50 MW of solar

The Junta de Castilla y León has granted the environmental permit for a green hydrogen production plant from renewable sources in Granja de Moreruela (Zamora), held by «Inari Solar, S.L.» (file 508-22-AAZA). According to pv magazine España this is the 40 MW «Moreruela II» project, promoted by Inari Solar within Andalusian group Ansasol, integrating a 50 MW PV installation in island mode with no external power line and no substation, across 123.77 ha. For a solar developer it is 50 MW taking up land in Zamora without competing for grid access capacity.
