Prior authorisation and public-utility status for the Libienergy Margalida PV plant (Mallorca)

The Balearic minister for Enterprise, Self-Employment and Energy has granted prior administrative authorisation and public-utility status — for the purposes of the declaration of general interest — to the Libienergy Margalida solar plant and its interconnection line, on plots 26 and 147 of polygon 14 in Santa Margalida (Mallorca). The resolution also covers the shared evacuation infrastructure it uses together with the Mallorca V solar plant (RE029/24), on plot 162 of polygon 13 in the same municipality. That shared connection — one evacuation route serving more than one plant in the same area — is the point of interest, along with public-utility status, which opens the way to expropriation of the land affected.
