Girona wastewater plant's 359.8 kW self-consumption solar extension authorised

Catalonia's energy directorate has granted Tractament de Residus i d'Aigües Residuals del Sistema de Girona, SA the prior and construction authorisations to extend its surplus-exporting self-consumption generation at the Girona wastewater treatment plant, through the PS EDAR Girona solar plant of 359.820 kW on non-developable land in the municipality of Girona. Resolution TER/3204/2026, of 18 August, closes the energy permitting stage of the project (file FUE-2024-04239804).
