Changes authorised to the 66 kV line evacuating BP Solar 1 and 2 at Tres Cantos (Madrid)

Madrid's energy transition and circular economy directorate grants prior administrative authorisation and approves the execution project for changes to the 66 kV double-circuit underground line between the ST Tres Cantos substation and the BP Solar 1 and BP Solar 2 substations, in the municipality of Tres Cantos, at the request of I-DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes (file 2025P213). The file includes a route change and objections from the water utility Canal de Isabel II over possible effects on its infrastructure, which the applicant says it has taken into account, plus conditions from ADIF, the regional roads authority, Madrileña Red de Gas and the town council. This is the line through which those two plants feed the grid.
