Biomethane injection bay on the Linares-Villacarrillo gas pipeline authorised in Úbeda (Jaén)

The Dirección General de Política Energética y Minas has granted Redexis Infraestructuras administrative authorisation and project approval for a new bay on the «Linares-Villacarrillo» gas pipeline for biomethane injection in Úbeda. An injection bay is the link that turns a biomethane plant into an asset that sells its gas: without one, the biomethane produced never reaches the gas grid. For developers with projects along the Linares-Úbeda corridor, the resolution settles where a grid entry point becomes available.
