ITER's 977 kW self-consumption solar plant with 2.15 MWh of storage authorised in Granadilla de Abona

The Canary Islands energy directorate has granted the Instituto Tecnológico y de Energías Renovables (ITER) administrative authorisation for a 977 kW self-consumption solar installation with 2.15 MWh of storage, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife), file ER250051. The resolution is dated 2 September and was published in the BOC on 14 September. Pairing self-consumption with batteries is the usual way of fitting new generation into the Canary island systems, where evacuation capacity is the bottleneck.
