New biomethane injection point authorised on the Linares-Villacarrillo gas pipeline (Úbeda)

Spain's energy policy directorate has granted Redexis Infraestructuras, S.L. the administrative authorisation and project approval for a new injection point on the Linares-Villacarrillo gas pipeline for biomethane, in the municipality of Úbeda (Jaén). Each authorised point fixes where a biomethane plant can feed the grid, and so shapes where such a plant is viable. It is the second of its kind in a few days: the BOE published an equivalent authorisation on 18 September for the Zaragoza-Calatayud pipeline, at La Almunia de Doña Godina.
