Azor Solar battery storage (68.51 MW) authorised beside its PV plant in Paracuellos de Jarama

Spain's Directorate-General for Energy Policy and Mines has granted Azor Solar, SLU prior administrative authorisation for the 68.51 MW Azor Solar battery storage project and its evacuation infrastructure, to be hybridised with the existing 64.02 MW Azor Solar PV plant in Paracuellos de Jarama (Madrid). The battery module is larger than the plant it hybridises with, 68.51 MW against 64.02 MW. It is a useful benchmark for how much storage the State is authorising on an already existing PV plant.
