Canary Islands approve execution of the Espinales wind-solar hybrid in Agüimes

The Canary Islands government has approved by decree the execution of the 2.7 MW installation 'Hybridisation of the Espinales wind farm with the Espinales solar plant', in the municipality of Agüimes (Gran Canaria), promoted by Energías Alternativas de las Islas. The decree also orders the amendment of the affected planning instruments. A hybridisation adds solar to the wind project it is named after, and the execution decision is the step that unblocks siting where municipal planning does not allow for it.
