Strategic environmental decision on the plan for a biogas plant in Torregrossa

The Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition has issued the strategic environmental decision on the standalone special urban plan that expands the existing composting plant and adds a new biogas plant in the municipality of Torregrossa (file U24/111 - OTAALL20240224). The special plan is the instrument that makes room for the plant on non-developable land: with the planning-level environmental step settled, the project can move on to its sectoral permits. The same bulletin publishes the strategic environmental decision on an equivalent plan to expand the Vila-sana biogas plant.
