Prior authorisation refused for the 23.7 MW «Tara» solar plant in Tauste (Zaragoza)

Spain's Directorate-General for Energy Policy and Mines has refused Energía Inagotable de Tara, SL's application for prior administrative authorisation of the 23.7 MW «Tara» solar PV plant in Tauste (Zaragoza) and of its associated evacuation infrastructure, which runs through the provinces of Zaragoza, Navarra, La Rioja, Álava and Burgos. The resolution is dated 31 August 2026 and was published in the BOE on 12 September. For developers in the Ebro valley this is a refusal at state level covering both the plant and the evacuation corridor that went with it, not an intermediate step.
