Refused: «PSFV Balazos Solar» hybridisation of the Los Balazos wind farm, Serón (Almería)

The Almería territorial delegation has refused prior administrative authorisation for the extension of the Los Balazos wind farm with the «PSFV Balazos Solar» hybridisation PV plant, applied for by Parque Eólico Los Balazos, S.L. in the municipality of Serón. The territorial impact report noted that the works sit inside the protected Complejo Serrano CS-3 Sierra de Lúcar-Partaloa of the PEPMF, so territorial compatibility required the energy authority to justify the chosen location. The permit is refused for lack of compatibility with territorial planning rules; an appeal may be lodged within one month.
