Negative environmental impact statement for the Garroners I and II solar cluster (18.7 MW), Marratxí

The Balearic directorate-general for urban harmonisation and environmental assessment has issued a negative environmental impact statement for the Garroners I and II solar cluster, 8,385 kW and 10,320 kW over 14.2 ha on plot 271, polygon 6 in Marratxí, promoted by Ventaja Solar 43. The decision records Marratxí council's concern at the build-up of solar plants in the municipality and counts, within 6 km, eight built plants, six projects with a favourable statement and four more still in assessment. Without a favourable statement the project cannot reach administrative authorisation.
