Unfavourable environmental decision for the 180.54 MW Fontefría Norte wind cluster (Pontevedra)

MITECO has issued an unfavourable environmental impact statement for the Alamoceiros, Chamarrapio and Xubrintas wind farms -- the 180.54 MW Fontefria Norte cluster -- and part of their evacuation infrastructure, in A Estrada, Campo Lameiro, Cerdedo-Cotobade, A Lama, Fornelos de Montes and Covelo (Pontevedra). The decision finds the project could cause significant negative environmental effects, weighing biodiversity, habitats of community interest and protected fauna, with the proposed measures offering no sufficient guarantee. The developers are Galveosaurus Invest, Fukuiraptor Invest and Dakotaraptor Invest. It is the largest block of wind capacity stopped at once in this window.
