Unfavourable environmental decision for the 52.8 MW Muracais wind farm (Lugo)

MITECO has issued an unfavourable environmental impact statement for the 52.8 MW Muracais wind farm and its evacuation infrastructure to the Xescabarex substation, in Castroverde, Baleira and A Fonsagrada (Lugo); the developer is Antila Solar. The decision finds negative environmental impacts for which the proposed measures are not sufficient guarantee of prevention, correction or compensation. The statement itself cannot be appealed, only the act that would authorise the project. An unfavourable statement blocks the administrative authorisation, taking 52.8 MW out of the Lugo wind pipeline.
