Unfavourable environmental decision for the Alten Mallorca III solar plant (11.2 MW)

The Directorate-General for Urban Harmonisation and Environmental Assessment has issued an unfavourable environmental impact decision on the PFV Alten III Mallorca project, on plot 171 of sector 5 in Maria de la Salut (file 188A/2025), for its potential significant effects on the environment. The park planned 11.2 MW nominal and 13.21 MWp over 19.4 ha of rural land, with 2.036 MWh of battery storage and a nearly 11 km buried 15 kV evacuation line to the Can Picafort substation. The municipality of Maria de la Salut had issued an unfavourable report on planning compatibility. On 22 September the BOIB published the unfavourable decision on Alten Mallorca IV, 13.3 MWp, in Ariany.
