Unfavourable environmental decision for the 13.3 MWp Alten Mallorca IV solar plant (Ariany)

The Balearic planning and environmental assessment directorate has issued an unfavourable environmental impact statement for the PFV Alten Mallorca IV project, on plot 7 of polygon 1 in Ariany. The plant was designed for 13.34 MWp of peak capacity and 11.6 MW nominal. The decision states that the developer's April 2026 submission, made at the hearing stage before the statement, does not answer the technical points behind the unfavourable draft, and it rejects the request to backdate the statement to 31 December 2025. Without a favourable statement the project cannot be authorised as assessed.
