Favourable environmental decision for Enel's Bugadera and Duralló solar cluster (Palma, Valldemossa)

The Balearic planning and environmental assessment directorate has issued a favourable environmental impact statement, with conditions, for the outline project of the Bugadera and Duralló solar cluster in Palma and Valldemossa, promoted by Enel Green Power España. The scheme totals 23.9 MWp of peak capacity and includes hybrid storage of 20 MW and 80 MWh across 24 containers. Among the conditions, the crossing of the evacuation line over the Vila and Baster irrigation channels, listed as cultural heritage, requires a specific design and a favourable heritage report before works start.
