Favourable environmental decision for the Son Pillo 1 solar plant (4.29 MW) in Calvià

The Balearic directorate-general for urban harmonisation and environmental assessment has issued a favourable environmental impact statement, with conditions, for the Son Pillo 1 solar plant: 4.975 MWp and 4.29 MW installed, promoted by Green Projects Mallorca on plot 30, polygon 13, in Calvià. It evacuates through a 320 m underground 15 kV line to E-Distribución's ROTES medium-voltage line inside the same plot, and a second phase adds 3.5 MW / 14 MWh of battery storage. Two conditions set the pace: the layout must be redesigned to respect the exclusion strip over the buried line, and prior clearance is needed for the Palma airport aeronautical easement.
