Favourable environmental statement for a slurry anaerobic digestion plant with cogeneration in Seròs

Catalonia's environmental board has issued a favourable environmental impact statement, subject to conditions, for the non-hazardous waste recovery plant by anaerobic digestion that Construccions i Derivats 33 plans on 2.42 hectares at plot 31, block 5, in Seròs (Lleida). The plant will treat 123,618 tonnes a year, of which 112,303 are livestock slurry and 11,315 organic waste, and the biogas produced will feed cogeneration units on site. The conditions include archaeological mitigation during works and periodic water quality testing.
