Favourable environmental decision for the 4.64 MWp PFV Cumbres solar plant in Felanitx

The Balearic planning and environmental assessment directorate has issued a favourable environmental impact statement, with conditions, for the PFV Cumbres project on plots 504, 507 and 510 of polygon 61 in Felanitx. The plant is designed for 4.64 MWp of peak capacity and 4 MW installed on rural land, with a 5.09-hectare fenced area, a medium-voltage connection to the distribution grid and a second phase of battery storage. The developer asked to be assessed under the full procedure although the simplified one applied; Felanitx town council had reported against the project in October 2024.
