Favourable environmental decision for the 8.46 MWp PFV Son Prim solar plant in Palma

The Balearic planning and environmental assessment directorate has issued a favourable environmental impact statement, with conditions, for the PFV Son Prim project on plot 356 of polygon 55 in Palma. The plant is designed for 8.46 MWp of peak capacity and 8 MW of inverter capacity on rural land, taking up 8.12 hectares of a 10.7-hectare plot. Because of its proximity to Palma airport the file required a favourable report from the state air safety agency, a step worth anticipating for any site in that area.
