Two community-interest applications for biogas and biomethane at Vall d'Alba (Castellón)

The Valencian government has opened public consultation on two community-interest declaration applications over polygon 8 of undeveloped land at Vall d'Alba: a plant handling agricultural and livestock waste by anaerobic fermentation to obtain biogas and biomethane, and a plant managing and treating the resulting digestate by composting. They share plots —65, 68 and 69— and are two parts of one site. The community-interest declaration is the regional consent that allows the use on undeveloped land, so both procedures condition the whole.
