86.5% of Spanish substations have no access capacity left, industry forum reports
A report by the Foro Industria y Energía (FIE) and Opina 360, covered by El Periódico de la Energía and pv magazine España, puts at 86.5% the share of Spanish substations with no available access capacity, and calculates that the system has lost a net 282.2 MW, falling from 7,400.8 to 7,118.6 MW. pv magazine España adds that saturation keeps rising despite the anti-hoarding capacity rules approved in March. For anyone hunting a connection point the reading is plain: the remaining headroom is narrowing month by month, and capacity is worth checking node by node before committing to land.
