Barcelona metro authority awards 1.22 MWp of solar pergolas at Sant Cugat del Vallès Park & Ride

The Barcelona Metropolitan Area has awarded Voracys, for 2.52 million euros, the 1,222.20 kWp solar installation on the new pergolas of the Sant Cugat del Vallès Park & Ride car park, under collective self-consumption with surplus sale, as reported by pv magazine España. The plant uses 1,940 N-type 630 Wp modules and four 300 kW inverters, with estimated annual output of 1,653 MWh, and connects to the medium-voltage network because it exceeds 100 kW. The tender drew 24 bids.
