BlueNewables' 1 MW floating marine solar demonstrator starts testing in the port of València

The 1 MW floating marine solar demonstrator developed by BlueNewables with Naturgy is now fully installed in the port of València and entering its testing phase. It is made up of two PV-bos platforms of 500 kW each, which will be used to assess performance, operation, maintenance and the integration of the technology into port infrastructure under real conditions. It is Spain's first pre-commercial marine solar demonstrator, and so the country's first operating reference for anyone looking at floating solar on port land.
