Castilla y Leon energy agency tenders a 250 kW self-consumption PV plant in Valladolid

Castilla y León's regional energy agency (EREN) has tendered a 250 kW self-consumption solar plant with no export to the grid, at the regional presidency's headquarters in Valladolid, with a budget of 598,523 euros and a five-month build. According to pv magazine España, the design uses 541 modules and five 50 kW inverters, for an estimated 436 MWh a year. It is a contract for engineering firms and installers to bid for, and a price benchmark for self-consumption on the region's public buildings.
