Galicia's high court upholds the Bustelo and Coto Muíño wind farms, A Costa da Morte

The administrative chamber of Galicia's high court has dismissed an appeal by the environmental group Petón do Lobo against the prior administrative and construction authorisations for the Bustelo wind farm, in Coristanco and Carballo, whose legality the Supreme Court had already upheld in March. The same court refused the group's request to suspend the authorisations and the public-interest declaration for the Coto Muíño wind farm, in Vimianzo and Zas. Both rulings lift, for now, the litigation risk hanging over construction of the two farms.
