Extremadura grants prior authorisation to the 4.48 MW «Aleta 23» solar plant in Cáceres

The directorate-general for industry, energy and mines has granted VLT Renovables III prior administrative authorisation for the Aleta 23 solar plant, 4,480 kW of installed capacity, in the municipality of Cáceres, together with its evacuation infrastructure (file GE-M/05/24). The project already held an environmental impact statement, published in the DOE of 6 August 2026, and its public consultation closed with no submissions. The resolution is not final in administrative terms: an appeal lies to the regional department within one month of notification.
