Public consultation on the self-consumption solar plant at the Maspalomas I desalination plant

The Canary Islands energy directorate has opened a public consultation on the authorisation request for a self-consumption solar plant with surplus export at the Maspalomas I seawater desalination plant, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), promoted by Elmasa Tecnología del Agua, S.A.U., file ER240033. The project comprises 3,864 modules on fixed structures, 2.4 MWp of peak capacity and 2 MW nominal, connecting to the internal grid at 20 kV, with a works budget of 1.15 million euros. Comments are open for thirty days from the day after publication.
