Public consultation on the 220 kV in/out line at Verneda substation (Barcelona)

Catalonia's energy directorate has opened public consultation on the prior and construction authorisation, and the declaration of public utility, of a 220 kV single-circuit underground transmission line looping in and out of the Verneda substation from the Badalona-Sagrera line, in the municipality of Barcelona. A loop-in/loop-out creates a new 220 kV bay at the substation, which is what changes connection options at that point of the network. File FUE-2026-05150773.
