Public consultation on the amended authorisation of the 114 MW Calzadilla solar plant (Cáceres)

The central government's industry and energy office in Extremadura has opened a public consultation on the amended prior authorisation, construction authorisation and public-interest declaration of the 114 MW Calzadilla solar plant and its evacuation infrastructure, which connects at the Zarzón (Pinofranqueado) 400 kV transmission substation. It affects the municipalities of Calzadilla and Guijo de Coria (Cáceres) and is promoted by Proyecto Fotovoltaico Calzadilla, S.L.U. Comments are open for thirty working days from the day after publication. The public-interest declaration is the step that enables compulsory purchase of the affected land.
