Public consultation on the 20 MW Frontones Phase II battery plant in Corral-Rubio (Albacete)

The industry and energy office of the Government Subdelegation in Albacete has opened public consultation on the prior and construction authorisation of the Frontones Híbrida Phase II storage plant, 20 MW and 80 MWh of usable capacity, at Corral-Rubio, promoted by Elawan Eólica Frontones. It would hybridise with the Frontones installation (50 MW wind farm, 26.25 MW PV and 4 MW storage) through a 30 kV underground line to the PV plant's switching centre. Comments are due within fifteen days from the day after publication; counted as working days, the date shown is the earliest possible close and is worth confirming with the office.
