Public consultation on the 400/220 kV substation and line feeding the Nostrum Evergreen data centre (Badajoz)

The Industry and Energy Area of the Government Delegation in Extremadura has opened public consultation on the prior administrative and construction authorisation for the 400/220 kV Enlace substation and the 400 kV overhead line SE Riocaya - SET Enlace, which would connect the Nostrum Evergreen data centre to the transmission grid (file CON-01). The substation provides for six 400/220 kV transformers of 110/150 MVA, two more to be equipped later and reserved space for further expansion; the 291.96 m line runs entirely within the municipality of Badajoz. Submissions are open for 30 working days from the day after publication. The 220 kV side is processed separately by the Junta de Extremadura.
