Public consultation on the 220 kV lines linking Esquedas substation and Walqa Technology Park (Huesca)

The Huesca provincial service has opened public consultation on the prior administrative and construction authorisation for 220 kV high-voltage networks between the Esquedas substation and the Walqa Technology Park, together with the WQA2CM 220 kV metering centre and its annex (file HU-SP-ENE-AT-2026-065). The works affect the municipalities of Almudévar, Chimillas, Huesca, La Sotonera and Lupiñén-Ortilla. A new 220 kV axis around Huesca reshapes the connection options for anyone developing generation, storage or large demand in the area.
