Public consultation on BESS Ieron, the storage hybridising the Ieron solar plant (Montánchez)

Extremadura's directorate-general for industry, energy and mines has opened public consultation on the amendment of the prior authorisation of the «Ieron» solar plant at Montánchez (Cáceres), to add an 11 MW electrochemical storage module named «BESS Ieron». The holder is Ieron Solar and the works budget is 7,044,197.96 euros; the storage connects through a switching centre and a 30 kV underground line to the plant's existing medium-voltage line. Submissions run for 30 working days from the day after publication.
