Public consultation on the 400 kV Maciñeira-Naraío transmission axis and its two new substations (A Coruña)

Red Eléctrica de España has applied for prior and construction authorisation, a public-utility declaration and environmental impact assessment for the «Maciñeira-Naraío» axis: the new Maciñeira and Naraío 400 kV substations, a 400 kV in-out connection at Maciñeira on the Boimente-Mesón do Vento line, and a new 400 kV double-circuit overhead line between the two, across As Pontes de García Rodríguez, As Somozas and San Sadurniño. The notice places the works in the 2021-2026 transmission network development plan as amended in April 2024. For a developer this is two new 400 kV nodes in northern A Coruña. Submissions are due within treinta (30) días hábiles from the day after the notice's last publication.
