Environmental impact report on converting a Consuegra biogas plant to biomethane

Castilla-La Mancha's environmental quality directorate has issued the environmental impact report on a project to modify a biogas plant with cogeneration so that it produces biomethane and fertilisers, in the municipality of Consuegra (Toledo), promoted by Zero Waste Bioenergy Castilla La Mancha, S.L.U. The project is not a new plant but the modification of a biogas plant with cogeneration: it changes where the gas produced goes, from being burnt to generate electricity to being upgraded into biomethane, with fertilisers as a second output.
