Environmental impact report on the «Ambélica» battery storage, hybridised with solar PV (Burgos)

The Burgos territorial delegation has issued the environmental impact report on a battery energy storage installation hybridised with the «Ambélica» solar PV plant, in the municipality of Melgar de Fernamental, promoted by Melga Renovables, S.A. (file EIAS/2025/BU/013). Hybridisation with batteries is the usual route to add storage to a solar project without requesting additional grid access capacity.
