ING lends 42.5 million euros to Solarig's biomethane plant in San Millán de los Caballeros

El Periódico de la Energía reports that ING has closed 42.5 million euros of financing for the construction and operation of a biomethane plant with CO2 capture developed by Grupo Solarig through Biorig, its renewable gas platform, in San Millán de los Caballeros (León). According to the report the plant is well into construction, is designed for 125 GWh of biomethane a year from farm and livestock waste, and is expected to start operating in the first quarter of 2027. ING acted as sole structuring bank and financing coordinator.
