Spain's 2030 transmission plan rises above €17 billion after 2,566 submissions

Spain's ecological transition minister told Congress that the 2030 transmission network development proposal, still in process, will raise investment above €17 billion — 144% more than the plan in force and 30% above the €13.6 billion in the draft put to public hearing — after 2,566 submissions were analysed. The plan decides which substations and lines get built, and with them where access capacity for new generation, storage and industrial demand will exist in the coming years; the document is not final yet.
